Terms and Conditions

  • A non-refundable deposit of £50 per person is required at time of booking. For tours, the balance is due at the time of the tour. The balance is due 30 days prior to workshops. If the balance does not reach us by this date, we reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled. If you are booking within 30 days of the workshop, please make your payment in full. In the event of us cancelling the workshop for whatever reason, your payment will be refunded in full, including the deposit.
  • The nature of a landscape photography tour or workshop is that it requires flexibility and must allow for alternatives, for example the locations visited will depend on the prevailing weather and lighting conditions. For this reason, any outline programme must be taken as indicative and not as a contractual obligation.
  • If you have a complaint about the tour or workshop, you should make it known at the earliest opportunity and we will endeavour to resolve it. Any outstanding complaint not resolved during the trip should be notified to us in writing within 30 days of the end of the tour or workshop.
  • We are unable to accept liability for any loss or additional expense cause by delay or interruption to travel services through weather conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, strikes, wars, floods or sickness. Such losses or additional expenses are the responsibility of the guest.
  • We strongly recommend that you obtain the appropriate travel insurance cover for the duration of the itinerary and for the activities undertaken and before the tour or workshop starts. The insurance must cover the loss, expenses and damages arising from, including but not limited to, the cancellation of the holiday (whether in whole or in part), personal accident and injury, damage to or loss or theft of belongings and equipment (including camera equipment) loss of baggage and personal money and belongings and flight or ferry cancellations and delays.
  • If you are affected by a medical condition, which may affect your or other people’s enjoyment of the workshop, you must advise us of this at the time of booking.
  • We will accept liability for negligence on our part causing direct physical injury to guests only to the extent that we are obliged under Scottish law. We cannot be held responsible for any mishap to yourself or your property, and in particular for the consequences of flight or ferry cancellations, vehicle accidents, strikes, sickness, Government or customs or police intervention or other such happenings amounting to force majeure.
  • By booking a workshop, tour or holiday with us, you are agreeing to accept all the above conditions. Both sides of this agreement are made subject to, and must be interpreted and enforced according to Scottish Law in a Scottish Court.
