Failte gu Islandscape Photography!
A very warm welcome to the website of Islandscape Photography. We offer photography tours and workshops on the Isle of Mull and beyond. Join us for an unforgettable journey to capture the sublime quality of Hebridean light amid the stunning landscapes, seascapes, and cloudscapes of the Isle of Mull.
Travelling in a fully insured Land Rover Defender in the company of a professional photographer with strong local knowledge of lighting, weather and tidal conditions, we visit a range of off the beaten track locations. Take a one day tour and explore some of the hidden treasures of the island whilst benefitting from our ‘in the field’ tuition. Alternatively, attend one of our structured workshops, ranging from a one day course for beginners through to themed and bespoke workshops of one, two or more days’ duration. As recommended in the Guardian and The Sunday Times, we also offer inclusive holidays in conjunction with award winning Scottish holiday specialists, McKinlay Kidd, and the Tobermory Hotel. In 2010, we will also be offering a seven day photographic cruise to Skye and the Small Isles. You can check availability here and we also offer a secure online booking service. We cater for all levels of experience and have a small number of Canon digital SLRs for hire. Gift vouchers are also available.
Islandscape Photography is run by Isle of Mull photographer, Dr Sam Jones who holds a Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society. She also undertakes commissions on the Isle of Mull and beyond. Visit our Commissions and Publications pages for further information.
Professional, enthusiastic and friendly, we can give you a different perspective on Mull, helping you to capture the spirit of the island and the very essence of Hebridean light.
"This was a wonderful experience! I found the workshop informative, professional and, even more importantly, fun! Sam has a lot to give and she does it in a lovely way - most in keeping with the tone and feeling of the hotel. Thank you." AG, New York, February 2009
"It was a pleasure to spend two days with you, your knowledge of the island and its history certainly made it an enjoyable experience. I would never have found some of the locations we visited if I had gone by myself." JD, London, November 2009
